Aujourd'hui: magasinage de mon premier char. Après un an de grosses économies, je me suis offert le plus beau des cadeaux: Une Volkswagen Rabbit 2008 (Golf V pour les Européens) !!!! J'ai pas eu le choix de la couleur (charcoal) ni de la transmission (manuelle, je sais même pas conduire manuel !), mais je m'en fous: cette auto est la voiture de mes rêves. Si vous vous vous demandez pourquoi je n'ai pas eu de choix, c'est parce que j'ai eu la toute dernière Rabbit 2008 à Rimouski. C'est un modèle devenu très rare, car il s'est avéré beaucoup plus populaire que prévu. Quelle satisfaction de voir le mot "vendu" dans le parbrise avant en m'en allant ! Elle est à moi, cette petite !

this is absolutely my favourite car too! My family owns the same except it's not Rabbit "just" Golf 5.
Wolkswagen means "people's car", by the way, and they really know how to make cars that last longer plus have enough high qualities to be called "people's cars".
That's why my family sticks to Wolkswagen for so many years already!

In North America The Golf V is called Rabbit but it is exactly the same car. It's just a marketing thing. They also want us to differenciate it from the Golf City which is the old model of Golf but brand new and sold cheaper (I know it's complicated).
Anyways, I agree that Volkswagen knows how to make the car last longer then any other brand. But for some reason many people doubt abolut their reliability !!! I am really wondering why... Just have a look on the old car still rolling and you'll see that a majority are from Volkswagen !!
