Valcartier

The next day, we went to Valcartier. I went there many times in summer, but I had never been there in winter. I loved it. Unfortunately, as we were in constant action, I could not bring my camera with me. I found two videos on YouTube, though that shows what a day to the Village Vacances Valcartier looks like in winter. I've been sick in the end of the day and I had to drive to Rimouski completely exhausted. That was less funny... But the trip has ended in a great way. We've had the perfect day to go there.

Wow, you've tried this? I mean sliding down the slope? It looks really entertaining and also funny. I'm sure I would enjoy very much if I ever try.
But what were you doing here in the summer? There's no snow so what can a tourist do here in summer?
Just being very curious like always and also imagining Valcartier as a potential place to visit... Would you recommed it to me? Or are there more interesting things to do while in Quebec? Besides visting the Ice Hotel, of course. I suppose there are a lot of things to do while in Quebec but really have no idea, to be honest.

Yes I did tried that ! That's very funny. I've been used to slide when I was a child, but I had never slid in such a big place ! And I felt like going back to childhood...
In summer Valcartier is a huge waterpark. Type Valcartier in Youtube and you'll see what it looks like. It is a very entertaining place, no matter if you visit it in summer or in winter. Yes, I would suggest you to go there, but it depends on how much time you have.
When I went there, there were many spanish people on a guided tour, so I think that's a pretty big attraction for whoever comes to Quebec.
There are so much things to do in Quebec City and around it. Both Valcartier and the Ice Hotel are about 30 minutes away from the city. I might make you discover the city through the letters. That'd be a good topic !

I listened to your advice and gone to Youtube to see what's Valcartier like in the summer. My opinion is that it looks very exciting! I wished to be there. ;)
I also saw L'Everest and Himalaya rides in winter. I would definately try Himalaya but I have some second thoughts for L'Everest, I mean, it looks pretty scarry and fast. Have you tried any of these?
And I also remembered that you already talked about your visit to Valcartier in summer on your blog. Am I mistaken? I remember you put some videos which were very funny to watch.
And about discovering Quebec through the letters, I don't mind at all. I also thought a little what tourist advices could I give you. And, since I'm supposed to go to Provanse in March, I can describe you the things I saw and some useful advices. What do you think? I say "supposed" because one trip to France (Paris + castles of the river Loara's valley) was already cancelled so I wish this one would hold. We'll see...
