Camping à St-Nicolas, partie 4 / Camping in St-Nicolas, part 4

Après les chutes Montmorency, nous avions prévu aller faire du patin à roulettes dans le Vieux Lévis, mais évidemment, nous n'avions pas prévu monter toutes ces marches et nos mollets n'étaient pas exactement en état de patiner ! On est donc retournés au camping, en faisant un détour part Place Laurier, un autre grand centre commercial. Nous sommes allés nous acheter une grille cheap au Dollorama pour nous faire des hot-dogs dans le feu. Puis, nous sommes allés à l'épicerie pour nous acheter ce qu'il nous manquait.

After the Montmorency Falls, we wanted to roller skate in the old part of Lévis. We had not planned we would be climbing so much steps, and our legs were shaking, not ready for some skating! So we simply got back to the camping. Before we went to Place Laurier (another shopping center) to buy a grill to make hotdogs at the Dollorama (a shop where everything is at $1). Then we went to the supermarket to buy what was missing for the dinner.
Il était très tôt pour souper quand nous sommes revenus au camping, mais nous avions tous très faim. On s'est donc fait à souper, et c'est là que le temps a commencé à se gâter. Le ciel s'ennuageait à vue d'oeil, et il ventait beaucoup. On a même entendu le tonnerre.

It was very early for dinner when we got back to the camping, but we were all hungry. So we were eating when the weather started to look bad. The sky quickly darkened, and the wind started to blow quite strong. We even heard some thunder.

On hésitait beaucoup sur quoi faire pour la soirée. On a bien parlé d'aller au cinéma, mais ça aurait été un peu ridicule, comme nous pouvons y aller à Rimouski n'importe quand.

We did not know what to do for the evening. We thought of going to the cinema, but it would have been a little ridiculous, since we can go there any time in Rimouski.

On ne voyait rien à faire à l'intérieur. Il a commencé à pleuvoir et on ne savait vraiment plus quoi faire de notre soirée. Mais tout à coup elle a arrêté. Les oiseaux se sont mis à chanter, le beau temps semblait vouloir revenir. On est donc retournés à la piscine et au spa. Tout allait bien, on était vraiment bien, jusqu'à ce qu'une dame anglophone embarque dans le spa. Je sais pas pour vous, mais en tout cas, dans notre cas, ça nous a coupé la conversation ! lol Pour meubler le silence, elle s'est mise à nous jaser du temps. Mais comme j'étais la seule à pouvoir répondre, je me suis mise à lui faire la conversation.

We did not see anything to do in any place indoors. It started to rain and we still didn't know what to do in the evening. But suddenly it stopped. The birds started to sing, and the sun seemed to come back. So we went back to the pool and spa. Everything went right, it felt good, until an anglophone came in the spa. I don't know for you, but in our case we suddenly had nothing to say. To break that silence, the woman started to speak about the weather, and since I was the only one who could answer to her, I was forced to chat with her.

Puis, aventure # 6: Steven a découvert qu'il avait laissé son porte-clef qui lui permettait d'enlever son anti-démarreur dans les poches de son maillot. Et bien sûr, il était allé dans le spa. Pendant ce temps, le ciel noircissait très rapidement.

Then, adventure # 6: Steven found out that he had let his engine immobilizer in his bathing suit's pockets. And of course, he had been in the spa. At that moment, the sky darkened quickly again.

Éric et moi avons donc décidé de retourner à notre terrain de camping à la marche afin de nous changer avant que la pluie n'éclate. Mais biensûr, nous étions à peine partis que boum ! Aventure # 7: Le tonnerre a éclaté et nous avons été innondés par la pluie. J'avais pris cette photo pour montrer comme le ciel était menaçant. Nous nous sommes quand même rendus à notre terrain à côté de lequel il y avait un abri pour la pluie. Nous nous y sommes assis, dehors, trempés et gelant, en attendant que la pluie passe un peu. Nous ne voulions pas aller dans la tente, car nous aurions tout trempé (nous ne le savions pas alors, mais ça n'aurait pas fait grand différence). Comme la pluie de passait pas, j'ai passé le temps en prenant des photos du camping autour de nous.

Eric and I decided to walk back to our camping site to change clothes before it rains again. Of course, we were just gone that the rain poured. Adventure #7. The thunder started and we've been quickly completely wet. I had took the picture above to show how menacing was the sky. We went beside our camping site where was a shelter to get out of the rain. We sat there, outside, completely wet and freezing, waiting for the rain to slow down. We didn't want to go in the tent, because we would have wet all our stuff (we didn't know at that moment, but it wasn't going to change anything). Since the rain was not stopping, I took pictures of what was around us to pass time.

La pluie a finalement arrêté, nous sommes allés nous changer, et Karine et Steven n'étaient toujours pas arrivés. On se doutait bien que c'était parce que Steven n'arrivait plus à partir sa voiture ! C'est là que la déprime s'est mise à s'installer.

The rain finally stopped, we went to put our clothes, and Karine and Steven still weren't there. We knew the car was probably not starting ! That's when I started to feel depressed.

Puis, Karine est arrivée pour prendre une pile qui par le plus heureux des hasards, entrait dans son porte-clé. Et miracle ! Seule la pile avait été endommagée, et Steven a pu démarrer son auto. Mais il était dans une belle furie ! Comme si ça avait été notre faute à tous !

Then, Karine arrived to take a battery that, fortunately, fitted into the engine immobilizer. And miracle ! Only the battery had been damaged by the water of the spa. But Steven was in fury. He was shouting to us as if it was our fault !

Ce soir-là, comme le beau temps était revenu, on a fait un feu. On avait plus beaucoup de bois, donc il n'a pas duré longtemps. On est allés se coucher très tôt. De toute façon, il n'y avait rien d'autre à faire.

That evening, since the clear sky had came back, we did a fire. There was few wood remaining, so it didn't last for a long time. We went to sleep very early. Anyway, there wasn't anything else to do.
