Stade Olympique / Olympic Stadium

Pour terminer notre voyage à Montréal, nous avons décidé de monter la tour du Stade Olympique, la tour inclinée la plus haute au monde (175 m). Bien que je ne doute pas que la vue sur Montréal du Stade Olympique n'ait rien à voir avec la vue de New-York de l'Empire State Building ou la vue de Toronto de la tour du CN, c'était quand même assez impressionnant. Comme le Stade Olympique n'est pas en plein centre ville, la vue n'est pas des plus belles. Par contre, on peut presque tout voir. Le centre ville, les ponts Jacques-Cartier et Champlain, l'île Ste-Hélène et la Ronde, le Mont-Royal et sa croix, ainsi que, sur la Rive-Sud, les Monts St-Bruno et St-Hilaire.

To end our trip to Montreal, we have decided to climb the Olympic Studium tower, which is the tallest inclined tower of the world (175 m). Even though I have no doubt that the view has nothing to do with the one on New-York from the Empire State Building or on Toronto from the CN tower, it was quite impressive. As the Olympic Stadium isn't in downtown Montreal, the view isn't the most beautiful, but at the same time, it allows to see almost everything. The buildings of downtown Montreal, the Jacques-Cartier and Champlain Bridges, the Ste-Hélène's island and the Ronde, Mount Royal and its cross and, on the South Shore, the St-Bruno and St-Hilaire Mounts.
