Pour une dernière fois

J'y reviens pour une dernière fois puisque je ne peux pas m'en empêcher. De toute façon, après, je n'aurais certainement pas le goût de me rapeller la nostalgie associé à mon retour... À cette heure-ci, l'an dernier, faisais une activité extraordinaire, probablement la plus merveilleuse, étonnante que j'ai faite à ce jour: la plongée en apnée. Je faisais la découverte d'un monde auquel je n'appartenais pas, un monde coloré et en mouvement, tellement différent de la terre. J'espère en refaire bientôt, et peut-être même essayer la plongée sous-marine.

I'll come back on it one last time, because I just can't help. Anyway, after this post, I won't feel like remembering the nostalgia linked with the return... At this time, one year ago, I was doing an extraordinary activity, probably the most wonderful and surprising of my life: snorkeling. I was discovering a world to which I do not belong, a world colorful and in movement, so different from the ground. I wish I will experience it soon again, and perhaps even try the scuba diving.

Au risque de paraître fatiguante....

Au risque de paraître fatiguante, il y a un an, j'étais en train d'explorer les grottes du Lucayan National Park et j'allais bientôt faire du kayak dans cet endroit de rêve... Puis, plus tard, j'allais découvrir la Gold Rock Beach. Il y a de quoi déprimer aujourd'hui. Dehors le temps est doux mais mouilleux et il fait si noir qu'on se croirait presque la nuit. Constatez la différence avec l'année dernière et vous allez comprendre !

I take the risk to be annoying and I will say that exactly one year ago, I was exploring the caves of the Lucayan National Park and I was soon going to kayak in this dream place... Then, later, I was going to discover the Gold Rock Beach. There is something to depress about. Outside the weather is cool but slushy and it's so dark that you could almost believe that it is the night. Have a look on the pictures from last year and you'll understand !

Manteau d'hiver en consolation

Pour me consoler de ma nostalgie des Bahamas, je me suis offert un beau cadeau... un manteau d'hiver. Combien ironique ! Tout pour me rappeller le froid du Québec par rapport à la chaleur des Bahamas ! Dire qu'à la même heure, l'an passé, je contemplais ce beau coucher de soleil avec un Bahama Mama entre mes mains...

Nostalgie... Il y a exactement un an, à la même heure, jétais en Caroline du Sud, en route vers les Bahamas.... Demain, quand je me lèverai à cinq heures, ce sera l'heure où nous embarquions sur la bateau qui m'a menée à Grand Bahama Island... Mais cette fois, je devrai me préparer à travailler, et non pas à voyager... Karine, te sens tu comme moi ?

Les poissons arrivaient en masse lorsqu'on leur donnait de la nourriture. Il y en avait tellement qu'ils étaient visibles de la surface de l'eau.

The fishes arrived by dozens when you fed them. They were so much that you could even see them from outside the water.
